Once again I am starting a full time job. This time working in the school district as a teacher's aide. It'll be great to have a job again, but I always worry about how it will affect my writing. I've had the whole summer free to work on writing projects, which is great. And I've gotten a lot done--I hope to get my first e-book published next week, "Gods of Garran."
But focusing on writing while also working full time has always been hard for me. There are so many things to do. Or maybe I'm making it harder than it has to be? But a full time job also seems to drain me of energy. At least, working at the school, we get plenty of vacation days and winter break/spring break to catch up on things. Also, I'll have the summer free again next year. Yea!
So, I'll have to buckle down and see what I can get done in the time I have left each week. I still plan to publish "Magic Spawn" by mid-November. Then "Towers of the Moon" maybe in January. In November, I usually do Nanowrimo--so that'll be a lot of work but I should end up with a new novel when it's done (or the large part of one). So, that's good.
